The Odda Workshop at the Calascio Innovation Playground festival at Giffoni Hub
AI and Creativity to Enhance Small Villages

Odda, the Abruzzo-based Talent Hub specializing in IT consulting, will be present at the Calascio Innovation Playground, a creative and innovative festival organized by Giffoni Hub.
Odda is a Talent Hub founded with the goal of proving that talent can emerge anywhere.
The project is based on an innovative model that identifies young talent in the IT sector and connects them with companies in Europe and Northern Italy. Often, talented individuals are forced to relocate elsewhere in search of better career opportunities. The company aims to reverse this trend by creating connections between young people and businesses, including through full remote work.
Collaborating with Giffoni Hub at the Calascio Innovation Playground represents an exciting opportunity for Odda, especially given the chosen theme: a festival where creativity and technology revitalize small villages. This concept perfectly aligns with Odda’s mission: to breathe new life into local areas and offer concrete opportunities to young people without forcing them to leave the places where they grew up.
Moreover, the involvement of schools makes the project even more meaningful. The company has always been close to the world of education, and this Calascio event presents a concrete opportunity to actively participate in an initiative that speaks directly to local communities and the new generation.
On October 2nd, Odda will hold a workshop dedicated to artificial intelligence titled “AI – Imagine Abruzzo and Creativity to Enhance Small Villages.”
The meeting will be attended by several team members, including Co-founder and CTO Antonio Bruno, Digital Product Designer Ilaria Grella, UI/UX Designer Luca Ferrigni, and Back End Developer Riccardo Palestini.
The workshop is aimed at young people who want to explore how Artificial Intelligence can become an ally for creativity and for enhancing small villages. Starting from the major issues affecting small communities today (depopulation, isolation, lack of services), participants will work in teams to identify a problem and turn it into a concrete idea.
AI tools that are currently available for free will be showcased, breaking down many of the barriers to digital development. These technologies also allow those without advanced technical skills to transform ideas into real projects. It is an opportunity designed to inspire young people to get involved and give shape to projects that often remain tucked away in a drawer.
About ODDA
ODDA is an IT consulting firm that operates in a full-remote mode, with the aim of demonstrating to national and international companies that talent exists and can be anywhere. Through a Hub of more than 200 IT professionals, it offers IT consulting, Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity, AI and UX/UI Design services, collaborating with more than 50 partner, corporate and international companies. The company was founded by 6 partners in 2016 as a startup with an app in the entertainment sector, reaching 50,000 active users in 2018. Then, in 2020, thanks to the pandemic, the project was interrupted and a change of direction was decided: today's ODDA was born, a reality that adopted a work model based on flexibility, inclusiveness and quality, allowing talents to connect with large realities beyond geographical constraints. The company's growth was consolidated in 2023 when sales exceeded one million (+700% since 2021). ODDA aims to expand its Hub at European level, promoting an approach to work that values talent and encourages knowledge sharing, with a positive impact on the IT sector and on the labor market. What sets ODDA apart is the inverse approach to IT consulting: it does not seek talent for customers, but tailor-made projects to make the most of the consultants' skills. He believes that success derives from the encounter between the right talent and the ideal context in which to best express one's value.
