OOF, the event format born in Pescara, arrives in L'Aquila on June 5th for a special event.

For its fourth event, scheduled for June 5, 2026, the OOF format has chosen to come to L'Aquila to foster dialogue, discussions, and authentic conversations.

OOF - "The talk that stays with you" is an event format designed to create a space for dialogue, discussion, and inspiration in a place that is still being reborn.

The goal is to share personal success stories that leave a mark and, at the same time, highlight voices and talents from the Abruzzo region.

OOF was conceived as a traveling event, aiming to move through different locations to share local challenges and visions. Therefore, after two initial events in Pescara, featuring stories of those who stayed or those who left and returned with new experiences, and a third episode in Molise, focused on how even small towns can become centers of innovation, it now chooses to come to L'Aquila.

An event that speaks of rebirth

OOF - The Talk that Stays with You arrives in L'Aquila on June 5, 2026, at 6 PM at the Hotel Castello's Lounge Area, one of the most emblematic places of L'Aquila's rebirth and recently reopened to the public, located in Piazza Battaglione degli Alpini, right in one of the city's key spots.

It will be Roberta Galeotti, journalist and editorial director of IlCapoluogo.it, who will lead the talk with the 4 guests: Riccardo Cicerone, founder of Saturno Consulting and xTechnologies.ai and organizer of TEDx L'Aquila; Gaia Contu, a science-philosophy communicator and PhD candidate in robotics ethics at Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies in Pisa, and organizer of the Ci Penso Festival; Paul Aka Iheukwumere and Federico Vittorini, president and vice-president of Orbeat Collective, who have been active in the city's music and cultural scene for several years.

Four voices committed to the city's reconstruction, through cultural and community-building activities, and through dissemination and information, involved in the challenge of bringing life and light back to their fragile and broken territory.

Creating an opportunity to slow down, reconnect, and also rebuild: this is what drives OOF to move to symbolic places of Abruzzo's history to tell stories that leave a mark.

About ODDA
ODDA is an IT consulting firm that operates in a full-remote mode, with the aim of demonstrating to national and international companies that talent exists and can be anywhere. Through a Hub of more than 200 IT professionals, it offers IT consulting, Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity, AI and UX/UI Design services, collaborating with more than 50 partner, corporate and international companies. The company was founded by 6 partners in 2016 as a startup with an app in the entertainment sector, reaching 50,000 active users in 2018. Then, in 2020, thanks to the pandemic, the project was interrupted and a change of direction was decided: today's ODDA was born, a reality that adopted a work model based on flexibility, inclusiveness and quality, allowing talents to connect with large realities beyond geographical constraints. The company's growth was consolidated in 2023 when sales exceeded one million (+700% since 2021). ODDA aims to expand its Hub at European level, promoting an approach to work that values talent and encourages knowledge sharing, with a positive impact on the IT sector and on the labor market. What sets ODDA apart is the inverse approach to IT consulting: it does not seek talent for customers, but tailor-made projects to make the most of the consultants' skills. He believes that success derives from the encounter between the right talent and the ideal context in which to best express one's value.
